Let's see. Terrible sound, amateur footage, your usual cliché touring band shenanigans, but with two interesting French guys. This doc displays just what Justice has become, a phenomenon. I don't really get it though, its just 2 dudes standing there, you could almost say they are just pressing play on their laptops as their preset DJ set plays on auto pilot( although Gaspard has assured us it is not the case, as he has posted proof on myspace). At least Soulwax plays live instruments.
In this doc we discover more about non members of the band, like the tour bus driver and his devotion to God and beating a certain Guinness world book of record. Let's not forget the tour manager, Bouchon, and his obsession with guns and ultimately how it jeopardies the tour...
That being said, we learn very little about who Justice is and why and how. It seems more like a one hour tour souvenir movie, for them to watch in a few years to be nostalgic. All in all this is a must see for anyone fan of the genre, there's lots of booze and girls.
Rock'n'Roll is far from dead.
P.S. I think I recognized some Winnipeg girls in the Coachella segment, but that'll have to be confirmed at a later date, as the images fly by quickly.
