James Pants is one of those guys that's so cool he can take a strand of popular underground music and mash it into something of his own choosing, transcending stylistic and aesthetic boundaries. At least that's how I felt after I heard his New Tropical EP in mid 2010, where he singlehandedly destroyed post-hip hop sounds and modern dance music. Now Stones Throw is set to release a full length self-titled record April 19th. My time machine is set to that date! Who's with me! LET'S GO!
