Where I come from, Winnipeg, there are many Ukrainians, which in turn explains why we all eat perogies often. That's why it comes as no surprise that Harper prorogues the house today, leaving the Canadian economic situation take care of itself for 6 weeks. We could have taken direct action as soon as early next week. But a selfish premier decided it was more important to keep his job than to help the thousands applying for social services every day. I look forward to the weeks ahead shielding myself from the conservative rhetoric that will plague our media outlets, undermining democracy.
Harper's only delaying the inevitable.
