the fall season cries for ambient doom jazz

Hungover like a bastard last Sunday, looking for something to give my club abused ears a break, I started to check out this new record by German ambient jazz quartet: called Bohren und der Club of Gore. New album Dolores is scheduled for worldwide release on October 21st via PIAS recordings. As the clouds roll in and the leaves fly by this fall, Dolores offers its listeners laid back ambient tracks lightly saturated with reverbarating vibraphone melodies, gently. A saxophone even makes some short appearances throughout the album, playing a lead melodic role. The second track, Karin, is by far my favorite. Bohren und der Club of Gore's Dolores is the ultimate fall chillout album, bar none.

Now I have the Blues.
